Since establishing Weiler Plastic Surgery in 2009, Dr. Jonathan Weiler has earned a reputation as one of the best plastic surgeons in Baton Rouge and throughout Louisiana and the Southeast. Having grown up in New Orleans, Dr. Weiler combines a genuine, down-to-earth personality with excellent surgical skills. His engaging approach and superb results have led his Baton Rouge plastic surgery practice to grow to locations in Denham Springs, Hammond, Covington, and Slidell.

Get To Know Dr. Weiler
If Dr. Weiler isn’t performing surgery, you may find the avid duck hunter in a southern Louisiana marsh chasing ducks and fish. Or, even more likely, he’ll be spending time with his wife, Elizabeth, and two children, either relaxing at home or traveling to exotic beaches such as Belize or St. John. In fact, Dr. Weiler dreams of sailing around the world with Elizabeth once he hangs up his scrubs. The couple also collects art, and both Dr. Weiler and his wife were personally involved in the design and art selected for each office.
Dr. Weiler stays true to his New Orleans roots, joining his childhood friends every year to ride in the Krewe of Bacchus parade. During football season, he attends LSU and Saints home games.
Actively Involved In The Field
Dr. Weiler was granted an appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery (Gratis) in the Section of Plastic Surgery of Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He remains actively involved at his alma mater, keeping abreast of the latest surgical techniques and clinical plastic surgery developments. He has given multiple medical presentations on both reconstructive and cosmetic surgery techniques to the academic community and has published cosmetic surgery articles in Aesthetic Surgery Journal.

What Drew You To Plastic Surgery?
My grandfather was a surgeon, so I grew up around the medical field. Plastic surgery requires precision and an eye for aesthetics. I appreciate the details and I like to see the results of my work; therefore, every day as a plastic surgeon is interesting and gratifying for me.
What Makes Your Career Rewarding?
Having gone through a traumatic injury myself, I have complete empathy and compassion for the feelings, emotions, and struggles many of my patients go through. The cosmetic procedures I perform help patients get through significant life events such as divorce, aging, and pregnancy. I am rewarded by the everyday aspect of improving people’s lives.
What Does The Tagline “Something Real” Mean To You?
Plastic surgery is often perceived as artificial, but what these procedures make patients feel is real … real hope, real happiness, real self-esteem. You can’t put a price on confidence.
What Makes Your Practice Different From Others In The Area?
I get that people have busy lives and that their time is valuable. I am very strict about running the clinic on time. We offer same-day BOTOX because I know convenience is important. If you come in for BOTOX, we will get you in.
What’s Your Vision For The Future Of The Practice?
I plan to continue expanding. I believe it’s important to provide the area with advanced cosmetic surgery techniques and natural-looking results. It is also my goal to bring top-quality BOTOX treatments to the smaller communities in Louisiana.
