As the mom of 3 boys, Dr. M’liss Hogan offers the unique perspective of a woman and mother to her plastic surgery patients. A native of New Orleans, Dr. Hogan is a board-certified plastic surgeon who joined our Baton Rouge-based plastic surgery practice in 2021 after operating a solo practice for 6 years. She specializes in body contouring procedures and cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery and sees patients at our Hammond, Slidell, and Covington, Louisiana, locations.

Dr. Hogan earned her medical degree at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans after obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology from LSU. Following med school, she completed a general surgery residency at LSU Health Sciences Center. Dr. Hogan then completed a 3-year residency focused exclusively on plastic and reconstructive surgery.
During her plastic surgery training, Dr. Hogan was involved in research and co-authored several publications and book chapters involving plastic surgery.

Outside the operating room, Dr. Hogan devotes much of her time to her family. Following LSU sports is a passion shared by all her family, and they attend as many games as possible. She also lives a healthy lifestyle that includes regularly working out.

My experience with Dr. Hogan and everyone at Weilers was amazing! From the consult, to surgery day, to follow ups, Dr. Hogan really explained the entire process to me and made me feel so comfortable with my decision! I absolutely love my results! She did an amazing job!
I started looking into getting a breast reduction because I told myself that I am not going up another bra size. Now granted My breast weren’t overly huge but they were bigger than I wanted and heavier than I felt comfortable “carrying around”. I did plenty of research, I actually made two appointments one being with Weiler Plastic Surgery and of course another office. I felt the most comfortable with Dr. Hogan. The whole atmosphere in the office was great from the moment I walked in. Every single staff member is warm, welcoming and greeted me with a smile. Everything was explained, my questions were welcomed and answered in detail. All my meds were prescribed before surgery and in hand surgery day. Surgery day and since then has been so easy. I was never in any pain. This has been the most seamless process I’ve ever experienced as far as surgeries go. I’m happy with my results and I got what I wanted. I’ve enjoyed my experience here and if I feel that I want to do something else in the future I won’t look any further than Weiler Plastic Surgery.

After many years of wanting a mommy makeover I finally took the leap and went in for a consultation. From the moment I walked in they made me feel so comfortable and welcome. After breastfeeding four babies, I became super insecure with the way my chest looked. I went to Dr. Hogan and told her I wanted to fill in what was once there, I wanted my breasts to look natural and not too big. She gave be exactly what I wanted and I am so glad she is the doctor I chose. Recovery was super smooth and I am finally happy with my breasts.
