Education & Training
Educated at Loyola University with cum laude honors, Dr. Womac’s academic excellence granted him early acceptance to the prestigious Tulane School of Medicine, where he earned his medical degree in 2007. Following this, he completed a comprehensive general surgery internship and residency at the esteemed Medical University of South Carolina.
Returning to his hometown of New Orleans in 2013, Dr. Womac pursued a plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at Louisiana State University. Honing his expertise in microsurgical reconstruction and aesthetics under the direction of the region’s most sought-after pioneers in autologous breast reconstruction makes his skills genuinely exceptional.

I have to say this has been one of my best experiences I have ever had with a cosmetic surgeon. I have had several cosmetic surgeries and by for the experience I have had at Weiler has been the best. Dr Womac is a very experienced and knowledgeable doctor. His love for the profession is very well known. From the very first visit I felt comfortable never did I wonder what the next step was. Dr. Womac and staff were very polite, and empathetic at each visit. I had huge and pendulous breasts. He very professionally explained my surgery from my initial visit, at the surgical suite, and with subsequent post op visits. I simply felt confident in his and his staff’s care. From 0 being never to 10, he is a level 10 . He is a very positive asset to this surgical group. I will recommend him to any individual needing plastic surgery.
