What Is Radiesse?
This product is a unique compound that not only smooths but lifts as well. In fact, we often include Radiesse along with other injectables as part of a “liquid facelift” at Weiler Plastic Surgery. The formula encourages the body to produce its own collagen, even after the gel has been metabolized by the body. When administered by a medical professional, Radiesse can provide results and stimulate natural collagen production for over a year. In addition, the injection is painless and simple so that you have no downtime and are provided with prompt results.
What Is Sculptra?
Instead of using HA (like JUVÉDERM and Restylane) to hydrate and add volume under the skin, Sculptra uses poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) to initiate collagen induction within the deep layers of the skin. Sculptra is sometimes called a volumizer instead of a filler because it adds volume to sunken areas of the face.
Areas treated include:
- Nasolabial folds
- Marionette lines (frame the corners of the mouth)
- Chin wrinkles
- Buttocks (nonsurgical Brazilian butt lift)
When Will I See My Sculptra Results?
Sculptra results take some patience. This product is mixed with sterile saline before injection. You may notice an immediate difference in your treated concerns that goes away in 2 to 3 days as the saline is absorbed. Most patients need a series of 2 to 3 sessions, each spaced about 6 weeks apart, to attain their desired results. Final results develop gradually in about 6 months as new collagen forms.

Results typically last at least 2 years.
